To develop whole person education based on Christian principles, and to nurture wholesome life through the teaching of the Gospel.

IMPLEMENTATION METHOD

1. Adopting the use of activity based teaching method and different corner layouts in the classroom to give children the opportunity to choose freely. Children then gain knowledge through discovery and interpersonal interaction. The content includes movement, recognition, speech, self, social and emotional development activities which are all related to the theme of the unit so that their understanding will be deepened.
2. In relation to children’s theme, a step by step method is adopted to compile the teaching material from easy to difficult, simple to complex, near to far, concrete to abstract etc with life oriented content to bring out the learning theme.
3. In classroom setting, we place great importance on developing children’s independence in learning, we encourage children to explore actively and make progress through discovery and interpersonal interaction. The curriculum centers on cultivating children’s all-round development. In addition to motor skills, cognitive skills, languages and other activities, we also place importance on the development on self, social and emotional development. Hence the curriculum not only focuses on academics, it also aims to give children a balanced development.
